Pitney Bowes = Dunder & Mifflin ?

The rebranding of MapInfo by it’s new owner Pitney Bowes has stirred up a bit of discussion. I’ve always suspected Pitney Bowes is the inspiration behind Dunder & Mifflin. Notice that PB is headquartered in Stamford CT.
When the new VP said he was going to shake things up, maybe this is what he meant?
I wonder if Group 1 will continue to be an ESRI business partner.
